Taper week! What is tapering you ask?
Tapering is cutting down your mileage or ease up on your workouts 1-2 weeks prior to your half marathon.
I took it REALLY easy this week. Maybe too easy. But I figured I would be running a total of 19.3 miles and walking an infinity amount of miles at Disneyland, so better to rest up my legs as much as possible.
Saturday – U-Jam – 1 hour
Sunday – 5k
Monday – Rest
Tuesday – 3 hours of teaching ballet
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – Rest
Friday – 5 million miles of walking at the Happiest Place on Earth
