Such a great year for running! After finishing off 2012 with an injury that put me in a walking boot for 6 weeks, I came back strong.
January – Tinkerbell Half Marathon – I took this one VERY easy, since it was my first big run post injury.
February/March – I used these months to build back up my strength and length of runs.
April– Santa Cruz 10k – My first big run back, such a blast and felt GREAT. I knew I had rebounded from my injury.
May – Western Pacific 10k
and Mermaid Series 10k
June – Took a race break
July – 4th of July Run San Ramon 5k
AND I started my blog in July too!!
August – 10k on the Bay (but I only did the 5k).
September – Disneyland Half Marathon
Title 9k Bay Area
October – In addition to GETTING ENGAGED this month (on a morning run of course), I did the San Francisco Bridge to Bridge 10k
Let’s Go 510 10k
Xterra Maui 10k Trail Run
November – Las Vegas Rock’n’Roll Half Marathon
Quarry Turkey Trot 5k
I PR’d in both my 5k’s and 10k’s this year (sometimes even twice)!! I’m so excited for 2014. I’m still sorting out my running goals for 2014, but will post as soon as I figure them out.
QOTD: What is your most proud running/workout moment of 2013?
