And just like that, the wonderful Tinkerbell Half Marathon weekend is over. I can’t believe how quickly it went, but it was magical and a blast as usual!
We arrived Friday night, late, around 10:00pm-ish, so we checked into our hotel and passed out quickly. We woke up early Saturday morning to get ready for the park. We had planned on doing a quick engagement photo shoot in the park since we were there, so we got ready for that and off we went.
We headed into the park to meet our photographer and his wife and what we thought would only take a couple of hours, took about 4! There were SO many places to take pictures and we got swept up in the fun of it all. Here is one of the pictures we took…LOVE IT!
As soon as we get more back, I’ll share on the blog. We took so many…in front of the castle, on the tea cups, in front of Captain EO, New Orleans Square, Pirate’s Island, Snow White’s well, Dumbo’s Flight. Can’t wait to see them all!!
Anywho, after we finished with that we headed for some lunch and then to the expo! I have to say, it was kind of nice getting there on the last day, mid-day. It was pretty quiet, compared to Dumbo Double Dare, where we got there on Day One, right when it opened and it was CRAZY PANTS!
In addition to the cute Tinkerbell long sleeve t-shirt, we also got a cute Tinkerbell mesh bag and a Pirate Fairy bag.
After we picked everything up, we walked around the expo and checked out the merchandise.
The unfortunate thing about going to the expo on the last day, there wasn’t a whole lot of merchandise left. All I wanted was the Tinkerbell Half Marathon mug, but alas, I was too late. They were all gone.
After we looked around, we were ready to head out to the parks again. So we dropped off our stuff at the hotel and went back out. Got on a couple of rides, then ate some dinner at Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria in Downtown Disney. Super yummy!
After that it was back to the hotel to get our race gear ready and fall asleep before the 3:00am alarm went off the next morning.
QOTD: Did anyone go to Tink Weekend and get some Run Disney shoes?? Just curious how that process went…
