The last few days have been epic.
With the wedding happening soon, it was time for the bachelorette party. I knew as soon as the proposal happened (okay, maybe even before the proposal happened), that I wanted to have my bachelorette party at Disneyland. I knew we wouldn’t be able to afford a Disney wedding, so the next best thing…have some bachelorette fun at the Happiest Place on Earth!
The plan was to get to Anaheim on Thursday, spend Friday in the parks and then come home Saturday. I was lucky enough to have 6 friends join me for this and it was AMAZING!
What happened right as we landed though, was SUPER awesome. I got the email that I got into the Nike Women’s Half Marathon! I have been trying to get into Nike for 3 years and this year I was finally chosen.
If you’re unfamiliar with the way it works, Nike does a lottery for all participants. You put your name in, give them your credit card number and then a few weeks later you get a congratulations email or a sorry, try again next year email. I have always gotten the sorry one and this year, I got the congratulations one!!
I can not wait for this race. Not only is it through beautiful San Francisco, you also get a Tiffany necklace at the finish line. That’s my kind of medal!
So, after I got that email, I was pretty stoked to get the bachelorette party started!
Once we landed we decided to hang out in the Downtown Disney area for drinks and food. My best friend had reached out to all of us prior to this trip and we chose a favorite princess. She made all of us little bags, mine said bride and t-shirts with the princess we chose on it. She also made me a sash and had some buttons she had picked up from Disneyland on a prior trip down there.
First stop was Trader Sam’s.
Next up was Uva Bar & Cafe
Then it was off to dinner at Naples Pizzeria y Ristorante, which is always delicious.
After the drinking and eating, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the big Disneyland day!
I was like a little kid. I couldn’t sleep and I was up and ready by 8am. Off we went to California Adventure in our outfits to eat our princess character breakfast at Ariel’s Grotto. SO MUCH FUN!!
Breakfast was great and then we headed over to Disneyland, but not before giving Goofy a little love!
Once we were in Disneyland it was castle picture and churro time!
We did some rides, like Indiana Jones and the Jungle Cruise.
Then it was corn dog time!! Do you see an eating pattern here??
After that we headed back to CA Adventure, we had grabbed some fast passes that morning, for Radiator Springs. LOVE THAT RIDE!!
After that it was 4pm…where the day went, I have no idea! But it was Happy Hour time! We went over to Carthay Circle Restaurant and took residence in their bar for about 3 hours! LOL. There was a lot of drinks and a lot of laughter. Such a great time.
After this, we went to Cozy Cones and got some churro bites with chocolate sauce…YUM.
We went to the Sorcerer’s Workshop and sang some songs incredibly loud. So fun.
Next up Mad T Party at California Adventure. We danced and sang along to the band (they were fabulous) and drank some light up adult beverages. A great way to end an amazing day.
The group split up at that point for some to head back to the hotel and 5 of us went over to Disneyland. We finished off the night doing Star Tours and the Haunted Mansion.
All in all, if you ever want to have your bachelorette (or bachelor party) at Disneyland, YOU SHOULD! It was a great time, we had great food and great drinks and laughed more than I even thought was possible.
Next up…THE WEDDING!! Oh yeah 🙂
